Letter to EPA Administrator Michael Regan Urging Expedited Elimination of Leaded Aviation Fuel

In February of 2022 Gary Keller, Environmental Director for Citizens Against Gillespie Expansion (CAGE), Pediatrician Jim Lubischer, MD, and David Barnes and Miki Barnes of Oregon Aviation Watch initiated a two-pronged campaign to gather signatures in support of both an endangerment finding for leaded aviation gasoline (avgas) as well as a complete ban on avgas.

We would now like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the organizations and individuals who signed on in support of this effort.

On May 23, 2022, we sent a letter to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator, Michael Regan, with the names of the organizations and individuals who signed the Letter of Support along with a request that EPA expedite the elimination of leaded aviation fuel at the earliest possible opportunity.

Signatories include 16 organizations and 146 individuals. The signatures are organized by state and name (with zip code). If the organization or individual included a comment, it follows their name. Those who signed on behalf of organizations are listed first.
